Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes what you may and may not do with Files Workshop. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service.

1. You must not use the Service to

  • Violate any law or regulation, or infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others;
  • Upload, process, or distribute malware, or content that is illegal, defamatory, or harmful;
  • Process personal or sensitive data about others without a lawful basis and necessary consents;
  • Create, distribute, or facilitate fraud, phishing, or impersonation;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach security or authentication measures;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law;
  • Circumvent plan limits, exceed API rate limits, or share or resell access without our permission;
  • Use automated means to scrape or harvest the Service beyond the documented API.

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the files and content you process and for ensuring you have the rights and permissions to do so. You are responsible for keeping your account and API keys secure.

3. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle or suspend access, terminate accounts, or report activity to the authorities. We are not obliged to monitor use of the Service but may do so to protect the Service and its users.
