Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for Files Workshop paid plans. It supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected) through our payment processor, Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

2. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period, after which it reverts to the free plan. We do not delete your account automatically on cancellation.

3. Refunds

  • Fees already paid are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or unused allowances.
  • Where mandatory consumer law gives you a statutory right of withdrawal or refund (for example, a cooling-off period), we honour it. By starting to use a paid feature during any such period you may be agreeing that the service has begun, which can affect that right.
  • If you were charged in error or experienced a billing problem, contact us and we will make it right.

4. Price changes

We may change plan prices. We will give reasonable notice before a change affects your renewals, and you may cancel before the new price applies.

5. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at support@filesworkshop.app so we can resolve it. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account.
