Many Files Workshop tools run entirely in your browser. For those tools, your files are processed on your device and are never uploaded to us. Server-side tools and AI features necessarily process your content on our servers or with third parties, as described below.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — such as your email address and name, when you create an account or sign in.
• Files and content — for server-side tools, the file you submit is uploaded, processed, and then deleted automatically a short time after the job completes. We do not use Your Content to train models.
• Usage data — limited records of which tools you use and when, to enforce plan limits, secure the Service, and improve it.
• Payment information — handled by our processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
• Cookies — strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management.

3. AI features

When you use an AI-powered tool (for example, summarise, chat, translate, handwriting OCR, or grammar), the relevant content is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the result. Please do not submit content you are not permitted to share or that you would not want processed by a third party.
