What trips people up
- The Polícia Federal uses 5×7cm, the same size as Canada.
- Brazil is comparatively relaxed on expression — a slight closed-mouth smile is accepted.
Making the photo
Physical size is what the authority specifies, so work in millimetres and let the pixels follow. At 300 DPI, 50×70mm is exactly 591×827 pixels — that is the number most upload forms quote, and it is the same photo, not a different one.
