Converting PNG to JPG lost my transparency — why?
JPG has no transparency (alpha channel) at all; transparent areas become a solid background. Keep PNG or WebP for logos and cut-outs that need transparency.

WebP is 25–35% smaller than JPG at the same quality and supports transparency — great for websites. Use JPG only when the destination (old software, some upload forms) doesn't accept WebP.
