If I forget the password, can you recover my file?
No — because encryption happens in your browser, we never see or store your password or your file, so there's no way for us (or anyone) to recover a forgotten password.

Yes — Protect PDF is free to use. It runs on our servers, so the Free plan includes a daily allowance; Premium removes the limits and raises the file-size cap.

Your file is sent over an encrypted connection, processed, and automatically deleted from our servers shortly after — typically within an hour. We never read, share or keep your documents.
