Does trimming re-encode the whole video?
The selected range is cut out and processed server-side, then the file is auto-deleted. Trim before compressing — cutting a clip in half halves the size before any quality is traded.

Yes — Trim Video is free to use. It runs on our servers, so the Free plan includes a daily allowance; Premium removes the limits and raises the file-size cap.
Are my files uploaded or stored anywhere?
Your file is sent over an encrypted connection, processed, and automatically deleted from our servers shortly after — typically within an hour. We never read, share or keep your documents.
